INFUSED GEUZE
Innovation and tradition go hand in hand at Oud Beersel. Traditional Lambic is infused with surprising ingredients and then bottled at the blendery itself. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, the result is pleasantly sparkling and extremely tasty. Below you can find an overview of the versions we have made so far – some of which are already sold out – but there is more to come.
TALUS DRY-HOPPED GEUZE
Talus Geuze is a refined Lambic beer, enriched by dry hopping with Talus hop. This hop variety enhances the fruity notes of the Lambic and also adds a pronounced floral, hoppy aroma. The result is an elegant, refreshing creation with a truly unique character.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat, hops
7% ABV
Colour: golden yellow
Serve at: 8°C – 12°C
Shelf life: 10 years
Bottle content: 75 cl
CHERRY WOOD GEUZE
Cherry Wood Geuze is a unique Geuze, refermented in the bottle and enriched with prunings from our Schaarbeek cherry trees. The wood imparts refined aromas of cherries, almond and frangipane, while spicy wood notes and soft tannins deepen the flavour. The result is a surprisingly complex Geuze, golden yellow in colour, rather than red, although one might think that cherries have been added.
